National dissemination event in Mid Sweden

On the 16th and 17th December 2014, the Swedish partner Almi Företagspartner organised the national dissemination of SMART EUROPE results.

On the first day, the project was presented within a conference with representatives from regional authorities and private companies. In this occasion, the stakeholders in the region,  as well as members from Almi’s national parent company, met to discuss projects carried out and plan for future events and cooperation.

National Dissemination Event in Debrecen, Hungary

The Észak-Alföld Regional Development Agency organised the National Dissemination Event in Debrecen (HU) on the 9th of December.  

The event was organised with the INTERREG IVC National Contact Point, who illustrated the results of the INTERREG IVC Programme and introduced SMART EUROPE as a good example of cooperation project. Following their presentations, participants could get information about the Hungarian participation in INTERREG IVC and about the future plans regarding INTERREG EUROPE.

National Dissemination Event in Vicenza "Tools and Local Initiatives Supporting Business Start-up"

The three Italian partners (Veneto Region, Veneto Innovazione and Province of Bologna) organised their SMART EUROPE National Dissemination Event on the 30th of September in Vicenza, in the framework of the “Week of Female and Youth Entrepreneurship”.

SMART EUROPE presented at the Professional Meeting on Rural Tourism in Avila

SMART EUROPE  was presented during the "Professional Meeting on Rural Tourism" in Navarredonda de Gredos, Avila, on 11-12 November 2014. There, almost 100 attendants could hear about the results of the project in promoting innovative practices in tourism for the Avila County. Additionally, the Smart Europe outcomes were also reported at the official Board of Representatives of the European Affairs, Energy and Tourism area celebrated at the venue.

SMART EUROPE best practices presented during an event at the European Parliament in Brussels

On the 20th of November in Brussels, the SMART EUROPE good practices will be highlighted at en event at the European Parliament, focused on increasing the cooperation between the public and private sector, in order to boost employment, SME creation and regional growth.

Innovation brunch in Tampere

On the 16th of September, the Council of Tampere Region and TREDEA (Tampere Region Economic Development Agency) organised an Innovation Brunch to illustrate the innovation profile of the region to the local stakeholders (namely experts from development agencies, universities and municipalities) and the project SMART EUROPE was presented as source of information.
