Province of Bologna hosted the peer week!

The Province of Bologna has hosted the peer week activity from the 5th to the 9th of November 2012.
The peer review in Italy has involved experts representing the Council of Tampere Region and New Factory from Finland, experts from the Patras Science Park from Greece and experts from Veneto Region and Veneto Innovazione (IT).

The Bologna peer week has been focused on the "New Innovative and Creative Enterprises" which has leaded the selection of key local stakeholders to be interviewed. The peer week review started at the beautiful premises of the Province of Bologna with a welcoming speech from the Councillor for the Department of Business and Tourism, Mr Graziano Prantoni.

The first day was dedicated to brainstorming among the peer experts to discuss about the planned activities and the methodologies to carry out. The day after the experts started the interviews with representatives of different Regional Bodies: CNA Innovazione, Emilia Romagna Region, ERVET- Regional Agency of Territorial Dev. and some innovative SMEs. Day 3 included interview with the Chambers of Commerce, with CGIL Trade Union and the most relevant representatives of the associations and institutions operating in the area. Day 4 concentrated on startup companies and incubators from the enablers point of view (projects / institutions who help startups) and from the startup companies' point of view. On the final day the preliminary findings and outputs of the peer review were represented to Mr Prantoni.
